Philosophy

To create and foster an approach to effective supervision by holding offenders accountable through the use of sanctions and behavior change services to reduce reoffending and to protect our communities.

Mission

The mission of Bannock County Court Services Department is to protect the community from delinquency by imposing accountability for offenses committed, and equipping offenders with the required competencies to live productively and responsibly in the community.

Q: Who is my Probation Officer?
A: Please contact our office at (208) 236-7002 or 746 E. Lander St. Pocatello, ID 83201. Our office is open 8am-12pm & 1pm-5pm, Monday through Friday.  


Q: How often do I need to check in?

A: You need to check in with your Probation Officer on the required days agreed to during your intake meeting.


Q: What do I need to do if I want to go out of town?

A: Contact your Probation Officer before traveling. Complete and submit the Travel Request form to your Probation Officer via email or at our office for approval.


Q: Who do I contact about drug testing?

A: Call in daily between 5am8am to the drug testing message line at (208) 2864404 or (208) 2409033. You may also log into
my.averhealth.com. You must call this message line or login online everyday, 365 days/year including weekends and holidays.

  • You will need to enter your pin number you received from your Pretrial or Probation Officer during your intake meeting.
  • You are required to listen to the entire message until you hear a confirmation number.
  • The daily call in message line hours are 5am8am.

If there is a conflict with the scheduled time due to employment, contact your Probation Officer.

Q: When can I come for my drug testing?

A: Due to COVID, your time will be determined by Averhealth. Make sure you listed to the entire message to hear your specific time.


Q: How much does drug testing cost?

A: $9.30, unless the judge orders other additional testing.


Q: Where do I go for drug testing?

Q: How do I report new prescription meds?

A: Bring your paper prescription to our office.
